Contractor Terms of Service

By submitting a listing to HeatPumpLocator.com ("the Platform"), operated by Aelric Technologies Inc. ("we", "us"), you ("the Contractor") agree to the following terms:

1. Listing Is Not an Endorsement

Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or certification by HeatPumpLocator.com or Aelric Technologies Inc. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any contractor's work.

2. Listing Accuracy

You represent and warrant that ALL information provided in your listing — including company name, contact information, license numbers, insurance status, certifications, service areas, and specializations — is accurate, current, and not misleading. You agree to notify us promptly of any changes. Misrepresentation may result in immediate removal.

3. Insurance Requirement

You represent that you maintain all insurance coverage required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, including at minimum general liability insurance. You agree to provide proof of insurance upon request.

4. Service Tiers and Fees

The Platform offers the following listing tiers:

(a) Free Listing — basic directory presence
(b) Verified Pro ($79/month) — license verification badge, enhanced profile, lead notifications
(c) Sponsored ($149/month) — priority placement in search results, clearly labeled as Sponsored

Paid listings are billed monthly via Stripe. All fees are in USD and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Aelric reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days written notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Lead Quality

We do not guarantee the quality, volume, or conversion rate of leads provided through the Platform. Leads are generated by homeowner self-service tools and are provided as-is.

6. No Exclusive Territory

Your listing does not grant exclusive rights to any geographic territory or service area. Multiple contractors may be listed in the same area.

7. Sponsored Listings

Sponsored listings are clearly labeled as such and receive priority placement in search results. Sponsored status does not imply a higher quality of service.

8. Removal Rights

We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: license expiration, customer complaints, inaccurate information, or violation of these terms.

9. TCPA/Communication Compliance

When you receive a lead through the Platform, the homeowner has provided express written consent under the TCPA to be contacted. However, you are solely responsible for compliance with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, and all applicable federal and state communication laws in your follow-up communications. This includes maintaining do-not-call lists and honoring opt-out requests.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Aelric Technologies Inc. is a British Columbia corporation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued listing on the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify listed contractors of material changes via email.
